Happy mother fucking new year.

Things didnt go as planed for our Tokyo New Years extravaganza but it was still fun. Meet some cool people and whatnot. Saw a dude get man-handled by the cops. It was a good night, also i didn't break the bank, so im happy about that. I pretty drunk right now and have a huge headache but besides that, this year got off to a good start.

A new year

Is about to approach, I am a few hours away from 2009. I would reflect back on this last year, but I'm tired of 2008 and it's shenanigans.

I have been told I am a very deppressed individual. Its true, but only because I make it true, its like a self fulling prophecy type thing. This new year I will be positive. All the time. Lets see how long that lasts.

I may be depressing but in no way I am suicidal, Joel. I joke about it in bad taste because thats what I do. I make bad jokes, not bad like Joel jokes, those are just lame, bad like,"Wow, did he just say that? Thats disgusting and in bad taste."

Joel, just ask her out. Quit avoiding the question, pick up your balls and do it. And if you need some liquid courage, have some. Have a whole lot of some. You e-stalked her enough to know there is a chance.

Got up at 8ish today and it started off nice. Got on the comp and Tyson was online, so we chatted on the usual BS, our hatred of people, and work. Got dressed up in my snazzy ABUs and headed out to work. Took a full hour lunch and went to Outdoor Rec and looked at all the snowboard trips they had, thinking about going on a few. Snowboarding seems neat. Might go to an indoor snowboarding place this weekend, but i digress. Anyways it was 5 oclock and i was ready to go home so i can go fap, but shit came down out of nowhere and i was working a 12. When i say work i mean i sit in the breakroom watching the animal channel because there is no work for our shop, but yet we still have to stay. because of this our showtime for the next day was pushed from 7am to 9am, which would usually make me happy, but thats new years eve. and getting off at 9pm on new years eve is gayer than male on male butt sex. Actually, its not that gay, but pretty close. But when things started to look like it was gonna suck, things turned around. We were released 30min earlier, at 9 instead of 930. Awesome.




I hope i get paid tommorow, cause im gonna go off and get wasted down in Tokyo, and its gonna be awesome.

If life had achievement points...

I would've gotten for just passing the 5000 point mark for my gamer score for Xbox live, which btw is Yim Shady. It would've been for being a huge nerd, or a unmotivated slacker who is losing faith in his goals. This past week i had off and i have been very, very, very unproductive. Its mostly due to my lack of money and to the fact that everyone i hang out with got off new years week and i got stuck with Christmas week off. So i sat around watched movies, played xbox and drank. It was a good way to just forget about work and slowly realized what a big piece of shit i have become. If anything i should get an achievement point for that.

its 4am and i have been celebrating xmas since 10pm, cause Christmas here is that great. I wish i was back home, especially with all the snow and what not. A warm home cooked meal would be so awesome. But i guess heaven comes with its hell. I might try to come back for next Christmas. eat some good food and hang out with everyone back home. hopefully it'll snow hardcore like this year so i can do some extreme winter activites.

Eff smoked ham and baked Turkey. Coco's curry and alot of beer make for a bestest replacement.

its 0445 and i've been learning play guitar on my buddy's electric guitar sans the amp, and said eff dis shiet, and went over to musicansfriend dot com and ordered me a nice epiphone with a capo,a stand and a few picks. I should be playing emo songs in no time.

well i had a blog, then stop because im lazy and wake up at 2pm. anyways i was convinced to blog again so here i am.

so life has been getting along decently so far. I hit my one year mark in the good ole AirForce on Dec18th. And its been one hell of a year. This is the second year i spent away from home during the Kwanzaa season. This Thanksgiving i spent with two friends drinking at some bar doing karaoke. I ended up drinking too much Souchu and threw up at the bar, on the train back, and in my room, while they were filming it all. I also threw up the next day. I plan to smoke cigars and chill with my non-Christan buddies on Baby j's birthday. Holidays have lost their meaning to me, especially religious ones. After all the things I've seen and heard, I don't believe in god, unless i'm in a situation where i might need him/her and some extra supernatural assistance would help.

love life? how bout lack of one. Japan wasn't what everyone made it out to be, or maybe i just suck at getting women. My buddy dean and i go out often and go dance it out at some techno clubs every other weekend or so. According to him i end up drinking too much and get lost in the music, that i dont realize all the non-English speaking japanese chicks are trying to dance with me. but im always in my own little world prolly dancing like and idiot and trying to get the crowd all riled up. My philosophy in life is, just be yourself and everything will eventually fall into place. Its just another excuses for me to be lazy.

I've been keeping in touch with a few people back home. mostly mr.joel guatum and tyson dirty unrau. It seems we're all facing the same problems. Joel and his trying to get a girl, but kinda afraid or something, so hes not asking out to a date upfront. Tyson and his hatred of work. Pretty much no matter where you go, or what you do, you are gonna face the same problems. So joining the AF and moving to Japan won't get rid of them its just complicates things further to the point where you find yourself drinking and playing xbox alot.

i've done alot of site seeing, even bought a fancy camera to take better pictures. And out of all the places i've been, the clubs, malls, bars, the best place i've been to are the temples. its so quite and calm there. the feeling there is different, its kinda hard to explain. Im not religious at all but i really like the temples, such a beautiful place. I say all this because i went to go visit the big Buddha today at Kamakura. You gotta be there to really get what im trying to say.
