Yokohama Beerfest 2009

After a 1.5 hour train ride we arrived at the Yokohama Pier. It was cool, the boards where all at weird angles. It just look weird, but still awesome. People were saying farewell to their loved ones leaving on a cruise ship, but we did not have time for that nonsense, it was drinking time.

They gave us these little cups and we walked around from vendor to vendor sample some good beer, and a lot of not so good beer. Tried some weird stuff like chocolate beer, coconut beer, and possibly the weirdest tasting beer, tomato beer. Which tasted like bologna for some reason.

We left slightly buzzed and ate at some random Hawaiian place, and Kristine order some birthday pina coloda to celebrate her day of birth. The place was meh.

We stopped by Hachioji on the way back and proceeded to drink some more. When to Apple Martinis and they put on a sweet show, and had Shep and Kristine compete together to out drink soem other people. And they did not disipoint. They destroyed their drink in like a second, quite impressive.

I was dead tired by midnight so we caught the last train out and that was it. The rest of the photos are on my Flickr.

Back by semi-popular demand

Well it has been ages since I last did this thing known as "blogging". A lot has change since my last post, I'm a year older, I have a different car, and I have more stories from other parts of the Earth, aka Guam. I don't know where to start so I'll just randomly post things as they come to me.

Anyways, I finally bought a new xbox360 (gamer tag- Yim Shady ) and I kinda regret it, even though it was the "Go Big" version, an Elite with Halo3 and Fable2. I just found a place right outside the base that sold pocket bikes for 20000 Yen, and they are quite slick.

I started to buy and sell rims about a month ago, making pretty decent profit, enough to spend my money like a jackass and buy a Nintendo DSI for no reason just because I thought it was cool. And i was right, they are cool as fuck.

I got a new car. Sold the mountain beast, aka 91' Skyline GTS-T and got me a more sensible wagon. Just turns out the wagon is a twin turbo boxer legacy. Just in time for snowboard season.

Thats about it, except for the Thailand and Guam stories which will come later, and trust me, they are quite good. You'll laugh, cry, and prolly pray for my soul.

And here is a random picture from my journeys

The giant Gundam in Odaiba. Like the McRib, it was only out there for a limited time only.
